The Channel Strategy Manager - Digital Products, VR is responsible for the business strategy, development, and coordination of building and merchandising digital products for the VR portfolio. They will lead the exploration of digital product solutions, lead internal reviews with leadership, and be the advocate of the customer in the development, execution and growth of the digital products business across sales channels worldwide. The ideal candidate shares our passion for content, has experience in leading the development of digital software, subscriptions, and currency in direct and indirect channels.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in Digital Sales in Retail, Category Management, Product Management, Product Marketing, Finance and Analytics or some relevant combination
Understanding of channel environment, consumer and business audiences, and overall marketplace dynamics impacting VR
Confident communicator, with presentation skills and experience presenting the leadership from internal and external organizations
Advanced skill with either Google Sheets/Slides/Docs or Excel/PowerPoint/Word
Description(岗位职责)
Develop the channel strategy for launching and sustaining digital products for VR across channels (retail, direct, commercial, carrier) in partnership with Product Management (PM), Product Marketing Management (PMM), Content, Engineering and Finance stakeholders
Drive and deliver go-to-channel timelines and deliverables as part of the product development process. The candidate represents the sales perspective in the product development process
Partner with channel teams and demand planners to provide early estimate forecasting and revenue for each program and across the portfolio
Drive alignment on key channel objectives and strategies for the category and products with Product Marketing Management and Channel teams, globally
Communicate key issues and opportunities to cross-functional teams to influence overall portfolio strategy, pricing, packaging and product decisions in the category
Maintain a strong knowledge and insight of the category, industry and competitive trends
Be the distribution expert for key initiatives and respective products in the channel and evangelize key takeaways with the product groups and cross-functional teams
Provides strategic category & marketing plans and delivers integrated sales pitch decks and new item launch materials for use by the key account managers and Channel Strategy - Performance Managers
Deliver monthly Channel strategy updates to the core sales team inclusive of NPI status, category insights and cross-functional alignment
Synthesizes and delivers feedback from the field as the advocate of the partner to Product Marketing and Product Management
Travel requirements: 30% (estimated post pandemic)
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Master’s degree/MBA
Experience with P&L management of $200 million + annual business(es), with at least 3 years of direct P&L accountability/management experience
Experience to adapt and support the organization through times of change
Precise and proficient experience conducting a business and data analyses with data driven recommendations for improvements and advancements
Experience to build various levels of strong ongoing customer and organizational relationships
Experience to understand, translate and map strategic business and competitive priorities into analysis and deliver insights
Exceptional problem solving, project and program management skills
Values collaboration and has communicating experience across varied stakeholders and influence without authority
Willingness to deal with ambiguity, navigate through uncertain situations and quickly adapt to change
