Facebook Reality Labs, or FRL, focuses on delivering Facebook’s vision through Augmented Reality (AR). Compute power requirements of Augmented Reality require custom silicon. The Facebook Silicon team is driving the state-of-the-art forward with breakthrough work in graphics, computer vision, machine learning, mixed reality, displays, sensors, and new ways to map the human body. Our chips will enable AR devices where our real and virtual world will mix and match throughout the day. We believe the only way to achieve our goals is to look at the entire stack, from transistors, through architecture, to firmware, and algorithms.


MS in EE/CS or equivalent

10+ years of experience in building silicon components and managing all design functions from architecture, to modeling, RTL design, validation, physical design and silicon bring up

8+ years of successfully delivering silicon components into mass production

8+ years experience building teams from the ground up, and scaling up your team, working across large organizations

8+ years experience of org leadership (people management, org management, and matrix management)


Lead a team that will build end to end graphics rendering engines from scratch

Hire, ramp and manage teams working on all design functions: architecture, modeling, design implementation, design validation, physical design and silicon bring-up

Act as overall London silicon site lead supporting engineers and managers across graphics and all other silicon disciplines

Define and drive site vision and growth strategy

Recruit top talent IC’s and managers and develop relationships with leadership partners and execs in the US and EMEA

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

Experience in ramping and scaling a new remote site

Strong experience working in a fast moving, cross-functional environment

Experience in managing HW or SW for graphics or pixel processing
