Sanzaru Games is seeking a talented and experienced Technical Artist to join our team. You will be part of our fast-paced and collaborative Special Features and VFX team, where you will be responsible for the development of unique in-game experiences involving animation, characters and VFX. Qualifications(岗位要求)

3+ years of game industry experience using Unreal Engine.

3+ years of game industry experience as a Technical Artist or VFX Artist.

3+ years of game industry experience using Maya or equivalent 3D authoring software.

Proficient at creating materials/shaders using node-based material editors, tiled layered material systems, shader networks, procedural texturing, and particle systems.

Experience working in visual scripting environments such as Unreal Engine's Cascade, Blueprints, and Material Editor.

Experience in character animation and knowledge of rigging and skeletal mesh animation.

Programming experience with scripting languages such as Python or MEL.

Experience scaling materials and optimizing for mobile platforms.

Experience adapting and learning different art styles.

Description(岗位职责)

Craft and lead the development of the Special Features and VFX in our games.

Work with engineering and artists to optimize for scalable performance while still pushing the boundaries of visual quality.

Collaborate with designers and other development teams to understand the feature needed.

Maintain and adhere to a consistent art style provided by the project leads.

Create and implement art, technical art and VFX using Unreal Engine Blueprints and Sequencer.

Clearly communicate possible concerns with designers and other development teams.

Participate in research and development of latest tools, shaders, technology, and workflows.

Contribute to building internal community by encouraging artistic development, showcasing workflows, artistic techniques, providing quality feedback, and mentoring others.

Actively improve skillset by staying on top of industry trends and techniques, new software, and product evaluation.

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

Experience creating art for VR/AR mediums.

Experience with Houdini, Substance Painter, Maya Fluids or similar.

Background in animation and/or traditional art.
