The Cameras & Sensors group is looking for a Camera Architecture Validation Engineer to drive the validation of camera architecture designs with respect to system design requirements. The ideal candidate is familiar with camera performance metrics for computer vision and photographic imaging applications, and will be able to validate the performances of camera architecture designs according to system requirements.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
B.S. in Optics, Physics, Image Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Image Processing or a related technical discipline
Experience in several of the following key imaging areas: camera technologies, camera system design and validation, image signal processing and applications of ML techniques, computer vision algorithms/applications, imaging algorithms, camera and imaging system architecture design and performance evaluation
4+ years of industry or related work experience
Description（岗位职责）
Collaborate with cross functional partners to understand 2D/3D camera system imaging requirements and validate the camera architecture designs according to the imaging system requirements
Partner with optical, sensors, camera system, opto-ME, EE, imaging FW, tuning, machine perception and computational photography teams to develop methodologies and validation plans for quantitative analysis of the performance of camera architecture designs with respect to system requirements, identify performance issues and perform root cause analysis
Deliver executive level presentations based on detailed analysis of quantifiable data
Help define camera technology roadmaps with learnings from the camera architecture validation
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
M.S. or equivalent experiences in Optics, Physics, Image Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Image Processing or a related technical discipline
Expertise in several of the following areas: imaging and full system validation, experience with multi-camera calibration, hands-on experience with computer vision algorithms, experience in high volume consumer camera product development, understanding of the latest camera sensors, optics technologies, good knowledge of state-of-the-art ISPs and image quality metrics, excellent software skills
Hands on experience with camera performance evaluation for computer vision or photographic imaging applications
