Summary（岗位介绍）
The Manufacturing Design Engineering (MDE) Team has the responsibility for evaluating technologies and identifying supply chain solutions that allow Tech Ops to deliver products to market at scale. Tech Ops is seeking a Manufacturing Design Engineering (MDE) leader to manage a Team of MDEs in APAC who has the capabilities to work under complexity supply chains, manage operational processes and scale operation manufacturing solutions in the region. We are looking for a senior manager role willing to work independently to accomplish bold things.
The role of this MDE Manager who is both technically proficient to work with the HW engineering team and Operations teams, demonstrated experience in operation to bring our design into the mass production. This candidate must have demonstrated leadership and people management roles (tasked to manage managers and ICs). This role requires candidates to be the interface between the Tech Ops, HW Eng and Manufacturing teams to execute comprehensive operational solutions for our products.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS or MS degree in engineering or related field
Must be a People Manager leading a team or teams with managers and ICs. Provide leadership, coaching and help the Team to grow his career
10+ years of people management experience working in Operation field
Knowledgeable and hands on metal, plastic fabrications and module related processes
Knowledgeable in partnering with cross functional team
Experience working in consumer electronics industries and experience in managing suppliers
Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin required
Flexible to travel within Mainland China, Taiwan and USA to support the Team

Manage a team or multiple teams of managers and individual contributors in APAC.

Communicates up, down, and sideways across the organization, and to inform and influence across Reality Lab
Work with XFN partners for MP supplier selection
Delivering scalable and robust manufacturing solutions via collaboration with supply partners to meet delivery, cost, and quality
Developing commodity processes & line qualification using tools that meet product design, cosmetics, yield, and functional requirements
Responsible for MIP (Manufacturing & Inspection Plan) document process control and with vendor on our products
Work with management team, set clear expectations and drive product roadmap, resources coverages to MDE Team
