Summary（岗位介绍）
The Reality Labs Platform Display and Optics (D&O) team focuses on moving the state-of-the-art display and optics technologies forward for Meta products, which gives people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. The team is responsible for the technology development and maturation, component design, manufacturing process advancement, and test & integration of display and optics module for all FRL products.
The Display Hardware team within D&O is looking for an experienced and self-motivated Display Engineer to be a part of one of the best display Engineering teams in the world. You will be responsible for the investigation, development, qualification, and implementation of leading-edge display optical designs and modules for our growing hardware products. You will work with a group of display experts working on display component design, validation, system integration, and manage necessary activities to implement custom and novel component technologies into final products. Your work will change the performance and experience of Meta hardware through a close collaboration with both internal and external partners.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
1+ years working experience with Ph.D. or MS degree or 3+ years working experience with BS degree, in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent field
Experience in display optical component design, testing, and system integration
Experience with display optical parameters and specifications
Experience in delivering high volume consumer products
Experience with communicating with colleagues, team, cross-functional partners
Description（岗位职责）
Lead related activities in display module development and qualification and support optical and electrical integration to system from development phase to mass production
Lead display optical component design and qualification including display module, cover glass design, coatings, and cover glass lamination
Author display specifications and document display test criteria for display module and system
Perform testing and debug for any optical related issues. Perform display bring up, testing, and troubleshooting of components
Identify display optical and electrical related failures at module and system level and provide solutions to mitigate the issue
Travel 20% Internationally to Asia
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
In-depth understanding of LCD or OLED display technologies and display module/panel/CG design
Familiar with optical and electrical lab equipment for display testing
Experience in display panel, backlight, module processes and CG lamination
Familiar with display module PCB/flex design, interfaces standards, and display driver IC
Experience performing and designing DOE, data analysis, root cause investigation, and FACA
Experience with programming software and data analysis tools for engineering application such as MATLAB or Python
Direct working experience with LCD or OLED display vendors
Experience with cross-functional teamwork and project management
Interpersonal skills including cross-functional and cross-culture collaboration
