As a Multi-Physics Simulation Engineer at Facebook, you will take a critical role in developing next generation AR/VR Systems. You will become part of a team exploring new concepts through mechanical design, optical modeling and fast iterative prototyping. A wide range of approaches will be explored combining electrical, mechanical, optical, firmware, and software techniques. We want people who work well in teams, can brainstorm big ideas, work in new technology areas, are able to drive a concept into a prototype and then mature the design to a high-volume consumer product solution. We are looking for someone with a productive mindset who can apply their engineering expertise to solve problems in creative, insightful ways. Our ideal candidate has a strong fundamental engineering background, and experience designing and manufacturing consumer technology products.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience with multi-physical finite element analysis
3+ years of experience in opto-mechanical tolerance analysis on camera imaging systems
3+ years of experience in interfacing with mechanical CAD models
Industrial level of working knowledge in material properties, such as plastics, metal, adhesive, glass, PCBA, flex circuit, magnets, etc.
Experience with 3D design modeling using NX, SolidWorks or Creo
Experience with ANSYS Finite Element Analysis or equivalent
Testing and analysis experience using MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW or equivalent, etc.
Description（岗位职责）
Perform Multi-physical Finite Element Analysis of complex electro-mechanical sub-systems
Model, build, test, and refine prototypes and characterization test systems
Work across the full product development cycle, from concept inception to shipping product
Work with vendors worldwide
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Masters degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience in consumer electronics product development and/or manufacturing
Experience with VCM and SMA technologies
