Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications.
We are looking for a Real Time Rigging Artist with experience in developing AR/Realtime applications. In this role you will be working closely with all of our multi-functional teams in delivering a variety of high-quality animated and interactive AR and realtime applications. You will create amazing highly functional rigs and be a key part in the technical development of artist-facing tools, workflows and automation.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the games industry, VFX or similar industry.
Expert level understanding of Maya is required while knowledge of other DCC packages are also a plus.
Experience with rigging for realtime in Unreal, Unity or equivalent engines is beneficial.
Proficiency in Obj-C/Swift programming on Apple platforms.
Advanced knowledge of Python with experience in creating workflows and tools in Qt is required.
Programming experience with Maya’s API is a bonus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to be successful when working in a highly collaborative environment of artists and developers.
Highly organized, self-motivated and able to adapt and learn in a fast paced environment.
Be required to build and maintain robust artist friendly rigs for mechanical and organic assets.
Conceptualize and execute research and development projects.
Utilize internal tools and frameworks to create rigs in a scripted and modular manner.
Test rigs and realtime deliverables for compatibility and performance.
Develop tools and automation processes to augment existing pipeline using Apple Frameworks.
Successfully problem solve and troubleshoot issues while working with developing technologies.
