Summary（岗位介绍）
The Silicon Strategy & Partnerships team needs a technical yet business-minded individual contributor to drive strategy, planning, and product management for silicon accelerator and application-specific processor (“silicon IPs”) development at Meta Reality Labs (“RL”). The ideal candidate will be able to seamlessly navigate between immediate execution needs and long-term strategic planning.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing & Operations Engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in one or more positions responsible for development, licensing, or shipping silicon IPs for use in consumer electronics products or silicon therein
Product management experience with one or more of graphics processors, computer vision processors, image signal processors, audio processors, or other silicon accelerator IPs
Experience with silicon IP development processes and strategic vendors in the silicon ecosystem (e.g. foundries, IP licensors, or design services providers)
Experience working in a cross-functional capacity, collaboration skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams including Silicon Engineering, Product HW and SW Engineering, Product Management, Partnerships, Sourcing, Finance, and Legal
Experience with the silicon landscape of technologies, vendors, IPs, and processes
Description（岗位职责）
Establishing a strategy and roadmap for the development of silicon IPs, including identifying new opportunities, building the case for/against undertaking a project, and guiding alignment and decision-making across cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership
Conducting buy/build analyses, formulating a recommended approach, and driving definition, schedule and clarity of requirements for silicon IPs in close collaboration with RL’s Flexible Agile Silicon Team (“FAST”) and licensing managers
Representing FAST and Strategic Sourcing leadership vis-a-vis silicon design services, foundries and other ecosystem vendors, and growing trusted relationships with all key partners
traveling, both domestic and international, when deemed safe
Developing and implementing new processes to improve operational and execution efficiencies
