Our Technology Engineering for Devices (TED) team explores, develops, and delivers new cutting-edge technologies that serve as the foundation of current and future Meta products. From mixed reality and human interaction to natural inputs and beyond, TED is focused on transforming new technologies from early concept to product by iterating, prototyping, and realizing the human value and new experiences these technologies enable.
The Depth HW team within TED develops high-performance depth solutions for RL’s AR/VR products. This multidisciplinary group brings research to life by realizing state of the art custom modules including ASICs, lasers, optics, firmware etc.
Depth HW team is seeking a Prototype Platform Integration Manager who has a passion for managing technical teams across disciplines and realize prototype HW, FW, SW platforms that enable pre-product user case experience.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
5+ years of product design or prototyping experience.
3+ years of engineering management experience.
Experience leading teams that develop multi-disciplinary threads across Hardware, Software and Firmware.
Experience working across disciplines with both technical and non-technical team members.
Experience in developing new technologies in the consumer electronics space.
Description（岗位职责）
Set the direction for the Prototype Platform Integration team within the Depth Sensing organization.
Identify gaps in the AR/VR depth hardware development roadmap, and define prototyping platforms that fill these gaps.
Drive development of clear requirements for our prototyping engagements, create well-defined processes to deliver on these requirements, and drive cross-functional teams to execute against aggressive timelines.
Lead and own our prototyping vehicles through the entire engineering process (through concept, architecture, design, execution, and support). Communicate technology, processes, and plans effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate and work with teams to quickly identify, debug, and resolve technical project challenges.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
MS/PhD in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
10+ years of product design or prototyping experience.
5+ years of management experience.
Camera/Depth Sensor Experience.
Experience with NVIDIA Jetson Platform.
Experience with User Studies.
