The Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing Group at Meta Reality Labs is seeking a Technical Strategic Sourcing Manager for Displays to drive cutting edge technologies and deliver results in highly innovative Meta Reality Labs devices group. This position will focus on leading one of the most strategic categories for sourcing and Consumer hardware roadmap. This will include managing an Internationally-based supply base, developing and owning supplier and partner relationships, defining the category and supply base strategy, management and negotiation of Master Product Supply Agreements and related contractual execution activities. An ideal candidate will have high ambition to grow within Meta Reality Labs. You must be a high energy/impact individual with a demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate through ambiguities/difficult obstacles through collection of facts & data, advanced planning, evaluation of alternatives, open-mindedness, thought-through strategy, and superior communications to lead cross-functional organizations through sourcing activities will be required.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Business Development, Strategic Deals, Engineering Program Manager (EPM), Technical Program Manager (TPM) or Business-Related positions
Knowledge and experience in consumer electronic components supply chain
Experience and knowledge in Custom Display and Custom Silicon technologies
5+ years of experience in product or process definition taking product from concept to execution with emphasis on Displays and/or Custom Silicon
Experience and understanding of various Display and component technologies, i.e., LCD, AMOLED, Micro-LED, Micro-OLED, Driver IC, Mini-LED’s, LED’s, Backlights and Display Module Assembly
Experience with the silicon development process and strategic vendors in the silicon ecosystem (e.g. foundries, IP licensors, design services vendors etc.)
Experience in market analysis to dissect market size, players, customers, growth, technology replacements/forecasts, pricing trends, etc., to formulate effective sourcing strategies
Experience in financial statement analysis to derive should-cost models and cost competitiveness/financial strengths of suppliers, as well as gathering market intelligence
Experience articulating points of view with executive management but execute plans when directed
Experience in supplier evaluation/selection, should cost models, contract negotiation and supply base management
Experience working with Hardware Systems Engineering and Display engineering throughout product development process of technology products
Experience building relationships with engineering, product management, and other cross-functional partners and drive discussions around optimization of technical specifications, and features vs. value trade-offs

Description(岗位职责)
Develop Display commodity supplier sourcing strategy ensuring the supplier is capable of meeting Meta Reality Labs’ current and future technical and business requirements
Be an expert in Display and/or Silicon component vendor base, cost and supply
Continually benchmark industry to monitor technology trends and opportunities. Ensure best practices are incorporated into the Meta Reality Labs supply chain
Drive early supplier involvement initiatives to ensure suppliers/partners are proactively providing input into new product designs and future product roadmaps
Negotiate Strategic Deals with suppliers to establish long term partnerships while also enabling best-in-class pricing, flexibility, quality, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms
Lead Total Cost Reduction program to ensure the lowest possible total cost, including product cost, transportation cost, inventory cost, and cost of quality Initiate and drive extensive Market Intelligence for Silicon and Display categories
Formulate contingency plans to de-risk technical challenges, long lead time components, single source scenarios, and potential supply issues
Ownership of all display category and strategies, leading 5+ year technology portfolio decisions, partner selection and business negotiations
Partner and work with a cross-functional team to drive the supplier selection process (own RFx) and component qualification both under strict engineering and commercial best practices/disciplines
Deliver most aggressive and closest to should-cost costing and budget (OpEx/CapEx) projections, with the ability to standup to the most aggressive alternatives, doubts, and scrutiny
Accountability for securing components and/or services in the above category that will provide competitive advantage in both technology and cost for Meta Reality Labs
Achieve established commitments on total cost results, supply, quality and compliance adherence, and on-time delivery
Ability to travel domestic or internationally on short notice as situation demands
Deliver best-in-class total cost of ownership (TCO), continuity of supply (COS), and business relationship management

Master’s degree in Technical or Business disciplines
Experience in Display and/or Silicon technologies from the perspective of Partnerships, IP Licensing and Supply assurance
