At Facebook, we’re developing the future of AR/VR displays. As a R&D Dry Etch Development Engineer, your job will be in figuring out how we need to pattern them. You will work closely with internal research teams, academic institutions, external partners and vendors. You will help define requirements and deliverables, schedule and track project progress. To be successful, you will eliminate barriers to your team’s success, clearly communicate their work to all stakeholders. Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS/MS in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineer, Physics or a related field or equivalent experience
3+ years experience with plasma dry etch tools and processes (dielectrics, metals, alloys, and semiconductor materials
6+ months Experience with etch process characterization methods
Understanding of semiconductor processing and integration
3+ years Experience with statistical process control (SPC setup and monitoring)
1+ years Experience with DOE
Description（岗位职责）
Process ownership: process development and optimization for dry etch processes including dielectrics, metals, alloys, and semiconductor material
Work cross-functionally with device and process integration to define dry etch requirements for micro-LED processes.
Work as part of a team to develop performance and yield improvements for micro-LED development and production.
Tool ownership: define tool configuration and acceptance criteria, selection, start-up, and qualifications
Establish, monitor, and maintain dry etch process controls
Develop and maintain SOP, OCAP
Cross functional collaboration with industrial and academic partners
Plan, execute, and analyze DOE.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
5+ years of experience in dry etch
Background in LED or micro-LED processing (GaN and Phosphide-based materials)
Experience in research and manufacturing environments
Experience with root cause analysis, FMEA
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organizational and leadership skills
Self-starter with strong analytical and organizational skills
