Meta’s Reality Labs is building software for all realities – Augmented or Virtual for billions of users across the globe. Our team is expanding and we’re looking for experienced Technical Program Managers (TPM) who will play a key role in defining and driving the integration of software frameworks and highly complex, cross-functional features. We are looking for TPMs with a proven track record of developing and shipping high quality products, application frameworks, and developer SDKs. This role will have the opportunity to work closely with world-class development teams and leaders across the organization to deliver product infrastructure into Meta’s Augmented Reality products leveraging tight integration with our core technologies across OS, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate is energized by having impact, is passionate about enabling high-quality user experience, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
Demonstrated experience leading execution across highly ambiguous, complex products and programs, with experience making technical and product tradeoffs balancing business needs and technical constraints.
Experience understanding, decomposing, and translating product requirements into plans and software roadmaps.
Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.
Expertise in relationship building and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Description（岗位职责）
Develop and manage cross-functional programs, facilitating relationships across multiple teams to identify risks, manage dependencies and optimize resources.
Drive technical excellence within the team, coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables including architectural diagrams, specifications, launch criteria, and test plans.
Understand technology requirements, roadmap, dependencies, evolution, and develop a plan for mitigating risks and delivering features that meet the requirements across multiple products.
Engage with cross-functional teams to identify constraints, dependencies, programmatic interfaces, and risks/issues to deliver software features.
Resolve conflicts, maintain clarity on priorities and drive progress on execution.
Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review.
Become the go-to escalation point for execution, leader for driving visibility across the program, and orchestrator for managing software integration.
Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment, drive impact through deployment of key initiatives and garner adoption of those processes.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Project Management Certification (PMP), Six Sigma, or equivalent.
Experience integrating software frameworks and releasing SDKs for consumer products.
Technical knowledge in domains such as 2D/3D game engines, audio, video, camera, and application management.
Technical knowledge in low latency, high performance audio/video processing and transmission, consumer device performance and power efficiency, and software reliability.
