Summary（岗位介绍）
The Hardware Test and Calibration Engineering Manager – Tracking manages and leads a team to apply the highest level of skill and knowledge of computer vision, sensor fusion and robotics domains in designing, developing and deploying full end-to-end tracking calibration solutions for Meta Realty Labs AR/VR products. You will manage a highly technical team to conceptualize, design and deploy test and calibration solutions for consumer electronics subassemblies and systems. You collaborate with technology groups in the early product exploration stage and validate first article design in the lab. You will plan and lead the end-to-end development of software and hardware integration, including test flow, instrument control, robotics/motion control, data capture and process, and integration of advanced algorithms with third-party partners. You are a people leader who is enthusiastic about helping people succeed and develop professionally. You’ll hire, train and develop a team of direct reports and contractors to build a world-class team. The ideal candidate is a self-driven individual working in a cross-functional team environment and will be responsible for planning the design, development, and implementation of factory test/calibration systems. You will enforce manufacturability, testability and ensure cost-effective designs are implemented for testing and automation systems, software, and equipment. This position will have responsibilities for NTI (New Technology Introduction) and NPI test development as well as sustaining support of production. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in developing test/calibration solutions across full product life cycles – concept to production.
3+ years of experience managing a highly technical team or being technical leader for high collaborative projects.
Experience leading interdisciplinary discussions between Hardware, Software, Optics, System Engineering teams to define and drive scope and clarity of work, and reach optimum trade-offs.
Experience with tracking sensors/subsystem/system calibration (IMU, Camera, Stereo, Depth, etc.).
Experience with designing complicated test/calibration systems integrating robotic platforms, motion stages, data acquisition, electrical controls and test software.
Knowledge in statistical methods (6s, SPC, CPK, etc.) for data analytics.
Description（岗位职责）
Oversee the development and deployment of advanced manufacturing-ready tracking test and calibration stations for Meta AR/VR consumer electronics products.
Manage and coach a team of test and calibration engineers and define direction/strategy for the team.
Manage as necessary third-party vendors in designing, fabricating and developing test and calibration solutions.
Lead functional technology groups and drive cross-functional decisions on test development, coverage and architecture.
Use data to improve test strategies and processes.
Travel required: up to 25%, includes domestics and international travels for collaboration with R&D teams and prototype builds support.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Master/Ph.D. in Mechatronics, Robotics or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in people management with diverse geographical locations.
Hands-on experience with advanced tracking technologies and their calibration process, such as SLAM, Computer vision, 3D reconstruction, etc.
High degree of proficiency in program languages, such as Python, C++, etc.
Experience with factory tests and calibrations for consumer electronics products for NPI and mass production.
Experience with managing multiple third-party vendors from evaluation, down-selection, until driving deliverables to meet project requirements.
Skilled at making decisions based on data with high business impact.
Excels in communication at all levels, including providing proactive design feedback, in-depth discussions of technical matters, and briefings of leadership teams.
