Summary(岗位介绍)
We're looking for a new engineer to join our Developer Ecosystem team focusing on one-to-many support for Oculus developers. As a Builder Support Engineer, you will be participating in the day-to-day and ongoing issue management for developers via Oculus’ support channels with a focus on ultimately providing solutions to challenging technical issues as efficiently as possible. You will work closely with documentation teams, engineers, product managers, and other developer support engineers to unblock creative world builders so they can publish their immersive and interactive experiences to Horizon Worlds.
The ideal candidate is T-shaped with a focus on creating interactive entertainment and interests across multiple technology areas, including learning new scripting languages, mastering new tools, and building worlds in the early metaverse. They would also benefit from a strong “process driven” mindset - they should be the kind of person that appreciates a scaled approach, hates wasted effort, and will move mountains to never have to do something twice.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Experience with Scripting or Visual Scripting (Bolt, Blueprint, Python, Lua)
Game/mod development and/or game design experience

Become an expert in Horizon Worlds
Provide effective solutions to technical problems faced by Horizon Builders
Become an expert in Oculus products - know how they work inside and out and who owns what
Utilize Zendesk to respond to developer queries quickly and efficiently
Improve team efficiency by creating automatable responses to common issues
Work with our documentation team, engineering teams, and product teams to help them understand creator pain points and make better products
