Summary（岗位介绍）
As a manager of APAC reliability engineering team at Oculus (Meta Reality Labs), you will manage a team of reliability engineers who are working on New Product Introduction programs (device, accessory), or/and sustaining programs, or/and New Technology Introduction modules (battery, display, optics, etc.). This is a highly matrix organization that will work with every product Reality Lab develops. You will be responsible for managing this team of engineers and engaging them in the right projects at the right time.
You will provide both career and technical oversight to this team and expected to grow and develop the team into a high performing organization. You will collaborate with a large breadth of cross-functional disciplines to understand product designs and technologies and the need for reliability evaluations. Your team will be responsible for bringing up reliability lab and managing execution at manufacturing partner sites. Your team will also be responsible for driving initial failure analysis on reliability issues and assist XFN for root cause.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent discipline
5+ years of technical experience as a Reliability Engineer
3+ years of experience in a managerial role for reliability engineering preferably in the consumer electronics space
Experience developing and performing reliability tests including (but not limited to) mechanical, shock, vibration, environmental, and characterization testing
Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills- ability to build bridges with many diverse and different teams
Domestic/International travel, up to 50%
Description（岗位职责）
Manage, build and mentor a team of diverse and talented reliability engineers
Provide proactive performance management, career guidance, and mentorship for the team
Provide strong technical guidance and direction to APAC reliability team on all aspects of reliability engineering and operation
Manage supplier relationships and escalations including roles and responsibilities, schedules, resourcing and day to day support
Work together with reliability leaders in the US to ensure proper prioritization among the team and projects
