Summary（岗位介绍）
Meta is hiring a Sustainability Program Manager intern to be part of our Meta Reality Labs (RL) team. We are looking for an individual that is excited about driving sustainability and environmental initiatives while helping RL develop world class hardware that brings people closer together. The position will focus on researching and working with key teams across hardware design and engineering, supply chain, and sustainability to identify and evaluate Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reduction opportunities within the RL consumer hardware life cycle.
Our internships are 12 to 16 weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in process of obtaining a MBA, Masters in Environmental Management, Supply Chain or equivalent degrees
2+ years experience in PowerBI, Tableau or related data visualization tools
1+ years of experience working with data science or analytics
Experience working across cross-functional teams, resolving issues, building consensus, and working towards agreements
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Description（岗位职责）
Research consumer hardware energy efficiency standards and work with internal teams to identify opportunities for reducing use phase energy consumption during the product development process
Map and support development of processes with cross-functional teams to reduce logistics and transportation GHG emissions
Identify opportunities for supplier partnerships to reduce the embedded GHG emissions of hardware components
Develop cost/benefit analysis and prioritization of the identified opportunities
Interview and document existing key performance indicators (KPI), processes, and data repository
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Prior experience managing sustainability, environmental, and/or carbon footprinting programs and initiatives, preferably in electronics-related industries
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, supply chain, business, engineering, or related technical or scientific field
Intent to return to degree-program after completion of the internship/co-op
