Summary(岗位介绍)

As a Technical Art Manager within the Work Experiences team, you will build, manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of tech art leads and tech artists who are chartered with building art pipelines and the technical execution of art assets that help define the future of VR. You will be in the forefront of creating a new visual language for virtual spaces and apply it consistently through multiple 3D and 2D platforms. Join a cross functional team of Software Engineers, Product Managers and Designers who are passionate about creating a cutting-edge VR experience and establishing the Work Experiences Team as an industry leader.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

Extensive art team management experience in game development, including shipping at least two AAA titles as a manager.

Experience with a range of production toolsets and knowledge of 3D Art Tools (e.g. Shotgun, Jira, Trello, Pshop, Maya, Modo other).

Experience with 3D asset content creation including modeling, texturing, materials, VFX and lighting, for both mobile and high-end specs.

Demonstrated ability to recruit and manage art pipelines and contributors from leadership to potential external sources.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to foster a team in unfamiliar territory and nebulous requirements.

Excellent real time 3D art and problem solving skills – understand the underlying technology and tools necessary to make art for virtual reality.

Knowledge of Unity and/or Unreal across their features and systems

Experience with game optimization techniques.

Excellent communication, presentation and diplomatic skills.

Passion for empowering teams to produce excellent results.

Description(岗位职责)

Manage, motivate and grow a multidisciplinary team of tech art leads and tech artists.

Recruit and hire talented contributors.

Establish review processes within the team and key stakeholders.

Engage with PMs, Designers and Eng & Art Leads to define tech art pipelines and components, scope and goals for key features within our various projects.

Support artists in building tools for more efficient workflow.

Optimize performance by instructing artists on asset creation best practices, building reporting tools that flag performance hotspots, and working closely with art and engineering to fix performance problems.

Collaborate with engineers to develop and test new features, prototype shader code, and provide useful feedback during testing phases

Manage the VFX artists.

Conceptualize, present and execute ideas within time and technical constraints.

Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of AR/VR problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

Experience working with Virtual Reality.

Experience with Python, C#, or C++ in a 3d application or game engine

Shader programming experience.

Art production experience.
