Summary（岗位介绍）
As a Camera System Analysis Engineer at Reality Lab, you will have the opportunity to lead camera design by modeling complex camera system problems to iterate the development process faster. In addition, you will also validate the simulation on hardware platforms. Cameras are an integral part of AR/VR systems, a determining factor in fidelity and immersion. You will collaborate across multiple projects with optics engineers, computer vision scientists, and camera sensor engineers to deepen the analytical understanding of camera solutions in AR/VR products.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has a BS degree in Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline
3+ years industry experience in camera module design modeling, computer vision camera calibration, optical simulation, metrology, testing and lab work to verify imaging component, assembly and system level performance
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Experience communicating and working with cross-functional groups as well as collaborating cross-culturally
Description（岗位职责）
Lead building end to end simulation model to predict and analyze complex camera hardware problems across multiple disciplines including optical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer vision
Abstract quantified hardware specification from ambiguously defined machine perception camera systems
Provide quantitative analysis and solutions to camera system design, prototyping, development, manufacturing and system integration for AR/VR products
Develop camera system validation plans, metrology solutions, and instructions for internal and/or external design, prototyping and manufacturing groups
Explore novel camera technologies to enable new metaverse experience
Work with internal cross-functional teams on characterization, validation and qualification of components (image sensor, lens, electrical components etc.) and camera systems
Debug optical, electrical, and mechanical issues during camera module development
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
MS or PhD degree in Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline
Experience with imaging lens design and characterization
Experience with computer vision camera calibration
Experience with image sensor design, characterization and tuning
Experience with opto mechanical design
Experience with color science and image quality evaluation
Experience with electrical circuit design and test
Experience with camera module manufacturing processes and production testing
Experience with depth sensing system design and manufacturing
Experience with mechanical tolerance analysis
Experience with image processing in Python or MATLAB
