Summary（岗位介绍）
The HW Test Engineering Manager – Display/Optics applies the highest level of skill and knowledge of display panels, imaging, metrology and computer algorithms for test/calibration stations. You will manage a highly technical team to conceptualize, design and deploy test systems for consumer electronics subassemblies and systems. You collaborate with technology groups in the early product exploration stage and validate first article design in the lab. You will lead the end-to-end development of software and hardware integration, including test flow, instrument control, robotics/motion control, data capture and process, and integration of advanced algorithms with third-party partners. The ideal candidate is a self-driven individual working in a cross-functional team environment and will be responsible for planning the design, development, and implementation of factory test/calibration systems. You will enforce manufacturability, testability and ensure cost-effective designs are implemented for testing and automation systems, software, and equipment. This position will have responsibilities for NTI (New Technology Introduction) and NPI test development as well as sustaining support of production. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor’s degree in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in developing test/calibration solutions across full product life cycles – concept to production.
3+ years of experience managing a highly technical team.
Experience leading interdisciplinary discussions between Hardware, Optical Engineering and Software/Firmware teams to define and drive scope and clarity of work, and reach optimum trade-offs.
Experience with optical metrology (spectrometer, radiometer, imaging optics, color sensor, etc.).
Experience with designing complicated test systems integrating optical instruments, mechanical motion, electrical controls, and test software.
Knowledge in statistical methods (6s, SPC, Cpk, etc.) for data analytics.
Description（岗位职责）
Oversee the development and deployment of advanced manufacturing-ready display and optical assemblies test stations, for Facebook AR/VR consumer electronics products.
Manage and coach a team of test engineers and define direction/strategy for the team.
Manage as necessary third-party vendors in designing, fabricating and developing test systems.
Lead functional technology groups and drive cross-functional decisions on test development, coverage and architecture.
Use data to improve test strategies and processes.
Travel required: up to 25%, includes domestics and international travels for collaboration with R&D teams and prototype builds support.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Master/Ph.D. in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in people management with diverse geographical locations.
Experience with developing image processing algorithms.
Hands-on experience with testing of display panels and optical subassemblies with display panels.
High degree of Python proficiency.
Experience with factory tests for consumer electronics products for NPI and mass production.
Experience with managing multiple third-party vendors from evaluation, down-selection, until driving deliverables to meet project requirements.
