We’re looking for a talented Principal Program Manager who excels at leading and delivering complex software with the ability to drive fuzzy requirements to actionable specification for the engineering team(s).
You will lead the SW Platform (software and firmware) from concept to delivery. You will drive and write software specifications; lead software checkpoint; manage overall risks and schedule. You will partner closely with the software, hardware, and product integrity engineering teams to delivery on the specifications and the overall device experience.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Program Management of complex software/firmware solutions
- This position may require access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a “U.S. person” : a natural person (a) who is a lawful permanent resident as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20); or (b) who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3); or (c) is subject to an approved license by the applicable government agency.

Preferred Qualifications:
- B.S. in Computer Science or other engineering field or equivalent experience
- Able to translate use cases into measurable specifications.
- Desired experience with BSPs, drivers, and OS level
- At least 2 Experience working through a complete product ship cycles (from initial design through post-release maintenance).
- A high tolerance for ambiguity and change.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills; ability to distill information for the right audience.
- Strong collaboration skills.
Background Check and Security Clearance
- The successful candidate must have an active or be able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Description（岗位职责）
- Deliver Mixed Reality SW Platform programs by working cross-discipline teams in software features development, verification engineering, reliability, research, and business support groups such as sourcing and legal.
- Define new feature requirements and partner closely with engineering to get this implemented.
- Work with development teams to create end-to-end customer experiences, program plans, specifications, performance, critical to quality specs, production qualification plans, and conduct executive reviews.
- Develop and actively manage program schedules, deliverables, scorecards, execution plans, bugs triage and investigations.
- Proactively identify program risks and issues, and work with the teams to identify timely and actionable mitigations
- Organize and present program reviews/status/recommendations to engineering, business leaders, and senior management.
- Collaborate with other engineering organizations (e.g., OS, etc.).
