Summary（岗位介绍）
Our team is looking for a Sr Software Engineer to help us push the limits on the next generation of interactive computing for our platform. This team is working with some of Apple’s most advanced technologies including augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), machine learning (ML) and computer vision (CV). As the research and development arm, our charter is to prototype next generation experiences and capabilities by tightly coupling pioneering core technologies to the user interface.
You will have the opportunities to work across the full stack in the Apple ecosystem and on next generation hardware to expand the technology and design envelope for new intelligent components and multimodal user experiences at Apple. As a member of our organization you will assist us in exploring future products that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people!
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering standard methodologies
Experience building rapid prototypes. Good intuition in making time vs. complexity tradeoffs
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
5+ years of industry experience in software development
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Objective-C, Swift, etc
Description（岗位职责）
If hired, you will work with a passionate, product-focused team to ideate, rapidly prototype, and ship next-generation technologies and experiences. We thrive on being proactive and enjoy solving challenging problems! In this role, you will work in a fast- paced environment with constantly evolving priorities and dealing with a lot of ambiguity. You will jump between coding languages and parts of the stack to understand and fix problems.
Apple makes the newest technologies accessible to create amazing user experiences. You will have the opportunity to develop prototypes at the bleeding edge of technology to find the best experiences for our products. We work closely with wide range of team’s across the Apple ecosystem to define the next generation of computing. The ideal candidate for this role is comfortable working in a dynamic and creative environment.
Prototypers are expected to work quickly and smartly to help determine the viability of ideas and technologies. You will need a keen understanding of a range of technologies and applications and an ambition to explore a new world of uncharted possibilities. We work closely with artists, designers and engineers to define and prove new application concepts and UX paradigms.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Preferred Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience developing 3D applications, games or AR/VR experiences
• 3+ years of application development for mobile and/or AR/VR devices
• 3+ years of experience applying data science and machine learning methods to
real-world problems
