Summary(岗位介绍)
We are currently seeking an experienced leader to guide and grow a team of engineers and scientists that develop, mature, and integrate innovative camera, depth and sensing technologies into products that redefine how people connect, play, and work. This is a full-time position and requires a masters level degree in engineering, physics, or similar, and experience in the development and validation of complex opto-mechanical or sensing systems. Successful candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic cross-functional team and exhibit excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
MS or PhD in Engineering, Physics, or related field, with 7+ years of work experience in research and development of sensing, optics, imaging, or depth systems technologies for consumer applications.
5+ years of engineering management experience leading groups that create impact via the development of sensing/imaging technologies.
Experience with bio/imaging sensing systems, opto-mechanical systems design for machine perception or photographic applications, image quality, testing, characterization, and manufacturing technologies.
Knowledge of the CMOS imager and other sensor industry players, knowledge of industry trends and disruptive technologies in imaging and depth perception.
Description(岗位职责)
Lead a team of engineers and scientists to develop breakthrough cameras and sensing systems optimized for size, power, performance for all FRL consumer HW devices.
Drive the execution of technology roadmaps to deliver on the above. Particular emphasis on miniaturization and power reduction of systems.
Support strong technology (exploration, definition, development, validation) and product subsystem development (definition, specification, architecture, design, verification, and production) processes.
Support planning activities as needed throughout the year (long range, yearly, spot).
Manage and drive deliverables to schedule and budget.
Manage relationships and partnerships with various third parties to deliver the above in the sensors space (imagers, IMU, bio) and depth/camera space (illuminators, modules, image processing).
Maintain a knowledge of the key industry and academic players, as well as industry trends and disruptive technologies. Assess and recommend emerging technologies through close partnership with external, industry leading suppliers.
Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with other teams to ensure system compatibility, strong support on deliverables, and technology roadmaps efficiencies.
Create career development plans, manage performance, create performance reviews, and recruit leaders and engineers and scientists.
Provide team guidance, feedback, education, coaching and mentoring.
Advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion within the team.
