The MCAD team is responsible for developing and expanding the capabilities of the tools and solutions our engineers depend upon to create breakthrough products. We are seeking a CAD Specialist who is an expert in NX and understands how product design engineers work. Ideal candidates will have a passion for developing tools, customizations, and processes that improve efficiency.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Bachelors or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
5+ years of experience using Siemens NX in consumer electronics or a related field.
Communication skills.
3+ years of experience providing user support to mechanical and/or product design engineers.
Description(岗位职责)
Provide user support and assist engineers in the implementation of best practices.
Advise engineering and design teams on model architecture and setup.
Recommend collaboration strategies for teams at different development phases.
Lead the development and customization of new tools/processes.
Create training materials, documentation, NX seed files, and templates.
Train engineers throughout the organization on best practices and utilization of specific tools or modules such as PCB exchange, sheet metal, drafting, etc.
Provide input on application enhancements and upgrade roadmap.
Maintain and grow part libraries.
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Experience working with geographically distributed teams and collaboration tools.
Experience with drafting, creating 2D drawings, and applying GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
NX Open development experience.
Experience with Teamcenter PLM.
