At Facebook, we’re developing the future of AR/VR. As a member of the operations team for the development of Optical Display Products, your job will be developing processes and infrastructure to guide the transition from prototype development to mass production of optical display sub-assemblies. You will work closely with internal research teams, cross functional partners, external partners and potential MP process and equipment vendors. You will help define requirements and deliverables for the transfer of New Technology Introduction (NTI) to high volume manufacturing for our Displays. To be successful, you will eliminate barriers to the team’s success, clearly communicate their work to all stakeholders and drive action with our suppliers. Ideal team members are adaptable and resilient, eager to approach unfamiliar problems with curiosity and tenacity, and able to find ways to help our research teams be more efficient while keeping an eye on the long-term goal of mass production.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Masters degree in Materials/Optics/Physics/EE/ME or related field
5+ years of experience in display sub-assembly manufacturing processes, module packaging and integration
Knowledge of state-of-the-art semiconductor based and assembly equipment design, materials, mechanical and chemical process capability and challenges
Self-motivated, experience excelling in a fast-paced CE environment, flexible problem-solving, critical thinking, attention to detail and multi-functional influence experience
Analytical skills and cross-functional communication, presentation skills
Description（岗位职责）
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand design tolerance and sensitivities
Drives development and execution of plans for transfer of New Technology Introduction (NTI) to high volume manufacturing for our display module sub-assembly
Works with the R&D teams to identify and mitigate technology and manufacturing risks, design and process tolerances of display modules
Works with internal partners to identify vendors and support vendor roadmap development for high volume production equipment
Working with cross-functional teams and CM partners to develop manufacturing processes at the factory to drive line-qualification, manufacturing metrics and rigorous validation plan for high volume production
Work with contract manufacturing (CM) partners on yield improvement and process troubleshooting, drive issue failure analysis and corrective action
Work with cross-functional team (R&D, HW Engineering, HW Test, Quality, and GSM partners) to drive ramp and MP readiness
Drive cost and cycle time reduction through line balancing, and process optimization
Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites as and when required
