The APAC Hardware team is building products that make it easier for people to connect with the ones they love most. We are a team of world-class experts developing and shipping products at the intersection of hardware, software, and content. The APAC Hardware team has the responsibility for taking breakthroughs and delivering them to market at scale. The APAC Hardware team seeks an Electrical Engineer who has experience in consumer electronics and mobile products. This is a full-time position based in Shanghai.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in Electrical Engineering or related fields
Strong EE and hardware product development fundamentals
Experience and knowledge of high speed digital design and familiarity with common technologies and interfaces
5+ years of experience in consumer electronics, mobile computing devices or related fields working on system design, hardware architecture, board design, board bring-up and validation
Schematic capture and PCB layout design. Cadence Schematic Capture and Allegro Tools
Hands-on experience in prototype work and functional verification specifically with electronics
Hands-on and fluent with lab equipment: digital multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope, power supply, data logger… etc
Strong product NPI experience. Experience with high volume manufacturing
Experience leading technical teams, cross-functional groups and vendors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill issues and actions for consumption at various levels
Description（岗位职责）
Design and implement embedded systems including schematic creation, board layout and assembly. Make recommendations to design & test coverage improvement
Characterize, test and debug designs. Drive to closure potential test gaps and correlations issue
Work closely with our overseas development partners through the product development process and act as the liaison between AR/VR US team and our partners
Support product build activity. Test pre-/post-production units and provide reports. Test failed units and provide failure analysis reports
Support the Hardware and Firmware design teams. Setting up, maintaining & upgrading automated scripts. Analyzing test data to identify issues and report findings
Track project progress and clearly communicate status by producing regular progress reports
Support the cross-functional teams such as Mechanical, SW, Reliability, Manufacturing, etc. to resolve technical issues
Travel to different contract manufactures in China is required
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
MS in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 10+ years of industry experience
Has experience working in a lead capacity across one or more full product development cycles
