Reality Labs (RL, formerly Facebook Reality Labs) is the world leader in the design of virtual and augmented reality systems. The RL Silicon Team is looking for exceptional interns to help us create the next-generation experiences in virtual and augmented reality. Our Silicon research and development focuses on exploring new circuit design techniques, architectures and technologies for future AR products. We are looking for students interested in optimizing integrated circuits and systems, including novel implementation, and/or new emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will understand the full stack from architecture down to hardware and technology.
We are seeking an intern to explore innovative ways to test Silicon Integrated Circuits using embedded microprocessors and design the hardware associated with it. In this role, you’ll partner with the Product and Test Engineering teams, Designers, Operations and R&D teams to implement the hardware you designed.
Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Experience with Arduino or Raspberry Pi
Ability to read and layout PCB
Advanced oscilloscope usage: logic-based triggering, math functions, protocol analysis
Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship
Description（岗位职责）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Experience in electronic circuit principles
Experience in signal integrity, power integrity
Experience in silicon device physics and manufacturing process
Ability to program in functional and object-oriented languages, such as Java or Python
Ability to read and create circuit diagrams
Ability to design basic digital circuits
Ability to use bench equipment such as oscilloscope, power supply, or logic analyzer
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
