At Reality Labs, we’re developing the input technologies that will define the future of the virtual and augmented reality computing platforms. We are looking for a creative, skilled and motivated Research Engineer to join our machine perception team in advancing the state-of-the-art of human understanding, action recognition and statistical text decoding. You will work with research scientists, software engineers and hardware engineers to design technical solutions in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD in Computer Vision, Graphics, Machine Learning, or a related field
5+ years experience developing software in computer vision, robotics, machine learning or computer graphics, including low-level system development and development on various platforms
Knowledge in 3D math with experience in applied math and numerical optimization
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Description(岗位职责)
Plan and execute cutting-edge research to advance hand, body, object tracking, and action recognition
Develop new advanced technologies related to tracking deformable or articulated objects, 3D reconstruction, photometric stereo, object detection, and appearance modeling
Collaborate with other researchers, software and hardware engineers, and 3D artists to develop experiments and concepts that advance the entire project
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Experience with computer vision - specifically real-time tracking (e.g. of objects, hands, bodies, faces) or 3D reconstruction
Experience with convolutional neural networks and/or recurrent neural networks
Proven track record of achieving significant results as demonstrated by grants, fellowships, patents, as well as first-authored publications at leading workshops or conferences such as CVPR, ECCV/ICCV, SIGGRAPH, ICLR, or similar
Experience using state-of-art machine learning models for sequence modeling such as Transformers, TCN, LSTM and etc. for solving computer vision, NLP or signal processing problems
