Meta AR/VR Job | Optical Scientist – Design Validation (PhD)
Type（岗位类型）: Hardware | Research
Citys（岗位城市）: Redmond, WA
At Reality Labs, our goal is to make world-class consumer virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. Come work alongside industry-leading scientists and engineers to create the technology that makes VR and AR pervasive and universal. Join the adventure of a lifetime as we make science fiction real and change the world. We are currently seeking innovative scientists with experience designing, modeling, and prototyping advanced optical systems for near-to-eye display applications. This is a full-time position which requires an advanced degree in optical engineering, physics, or similar, and a strong background in optical system design and innovation. Successful candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic cross-functional team. We are seeking a full-time researcher with expertise in holography, fabrication, and testing. The candidate will have a track record in building Optical systems and fabricating Optical components and will work closely with our team of researchers and engineers on nanofabrication technology. Candidates must possess a fundamental understanding of both geometric and physical optics and have extensive experience working in the lab, and in fabrication and characterization of optical devices. The ideal candidate also has experience with a variety of physical optics technologies and the ability to work across multiple technology platforms.
