Facebook is seeking a Logistics & Trade Analyst Intern to identify & implement supply chain optimization initiatives & master data improvement efforts for it’s Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) global Prelaunch Logistics Team.
The Prelaunch Logistics team strives to execute seamless and efficient movement of goods in the R&D supply chain. This includes booking and oversight of global inbound and outbound shipments to FRL locations, employees, and business partners; adherence to trade and dangerous goods compliance requirements; 3PL provider management; and chemical order, transportation, and inventory management.
The Logistics & Trade Analyst Intern will use (and in some cases create) data sources to identify opportunities for cost and/or lead time improvements, subsequently collaborating with and influencing cross-functional stakeholders to implement these improvements. Additionally, this role will own master data improvement efforts to streamline data flows between various Facebook systems. This role will drive foundational improvements in the R&D supply chain and establish a framework for successful data integration in the future Transportation Management System (TMS) implementation. Ideal team members are adaptable and resilient, eager to tackle unfamiliar situations with curiosity and tenacity, while able to inspire and influence team members at different levels of experience.
Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long, and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently is in the process of obtaining a Bachelors or Masters in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or comparable field
Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or trade & compliance
Experience identifying continuous improvement opportunities through the compilation and analysis of multiple data sources
Experience in end-to-end project management from ideation to creating stakeholder buy in, setting aggressive implementation targets, and ensuring sustaining & measurement processes in place
Self-motivated with organizational, multi-tasking, communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to learn and quickly adopt to multiple software tools
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Description（岗位职责）
Retrieve, organize, and analyze data to make informed recommendations to management for operational / cost optimizations.
Drive internal and external process improvements across cross-functional teams and vendors to proactively drive increased productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall program efficiency.
Collaborate, align with and support subject matter experts (Security, Trade Ops, DG, Legal, Procurement, etc) to ensure operational compliance, integrated planning and execution.
Contribute to the creation and ongoing management of KPIs.
Establish new (as needed) and update existing Standard Operating Procedures (“SOPs”) to ensure consistent operations across sites.
Identify source of truth for critical prelaunch logistics master data elements and create must-do clean up efforts required for TMS implementation.

Knowledge of Order Management and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
Knowledge of trade and dangerous good compliance requirements
Experience in Tableau or other data analytics software
