Qualifications(岗位要求)
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, Information and Computer Sciences, Information Design, Computer Science, or related field and 24 months of work experience in job offered or in a Human Factors Engineering-related occupation. Experience must include 6 months of experience in the following:
Ability to analyze user behavior through different research methodology (user testing, 1:1 interviews, observation, A/B testing, and diary study), understands the strengths and limitations of different research methodologies and appropriately apply them throughout the product development lifecycle
Conducting research in complex areas and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with product and business teams
Partner with designers, analysts, and other technical roles to create and share research
Contribute to yearly strategic planning with product team and collaborate with cross functional groups
Work on improving the User Experience Design through research
Description(岗位职责)
Work closely with product and business teams to identify research topics
Develop and oversee the execution of research roadmaps
Design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes
Generate insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate design
Conduct research using a wide variety of methods, and interpret analysis through the lens of UX, HCI, and social science
Responsible for the project management of research projects including developing execution plans and timelines, communications of status and updates, and problem solving as needed
Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers
Work cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering and marketing
Partner with engineers, analysts, and other technical roles to create and share research
Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways
Synthesize diverse data sets including qualitative, quantitative, behavioral, and operational data to develop business insights
Employ understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of various quantitative and qualitative research methods, including when and how to apply
Effectively communicate and partner across multiple products teams and disciplines to deliver product experiences that meet customer needs
