Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications!
The Marcom 3DVM team manages the development of physical deliverables in support of the Marcom group’s initiatives and creative intent. Our responsibilities include developing and deploying complex visual merchandising experiences, installations, fixtures, furniture, and design solutions for Apple’s worldwide retail and channel partners.
Apple is looking for a senior level creative with a background designing experiences in retail/commercial/ exhibition environments to join the 3D/Visual Merchandising Design team and work with a multi-disciplinary group of designers passionate about creating innovative and inspiring retail experiences. You will be responsible for designing installations, displays and environments for Apple in various retail settings.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
You have at least 10-12+ years of design experience in a related field and the ability to approach design problems with creativity and passion
You possess excellent design skills, proven through a portfolio of work!
You show extensive design thinking experience and a strategic mindset
For this role, you ideally have proficiency in 3D modeling and visualization software on Mac OS platforms (Rhino, Cinema 4D and/or Keyshot preferred). You're also proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
A background with AR/XR interactive experiences a plus
You're knowledgeable in manufacturing and prototyping process and general construction and engineering principles with an extraordinary eye for detail
You're highly collaborative, with strong communication skills and the keenness to articulate ideas in a clear and concise manner
You're adept at time management and organization and able to work within tight timeframes
Description(岗位职责)
Develop and improve designs, through an iterative process, to meet objectives on projects that span between the digital + physical experience design. Ranging from architecture, interior design, industrial design, interactive experience design, and content creative direction.
We design for holistic experiences across various touchpoints
Create design discovery artifacts such as journey maps, strategy diagrams, prototypes and storyboards to help communicate the design approach and to gain alignment.
Our team works closely and collaboratively with our internal 3DVM team of designers to execute against project briefs and assigned tasks.
We partner with cross-functional teams such as: interactive, motion design, retail tech, industrial design, product development/engineering and 3D production teams.
Our team produces design development and/or intent packages for production and fabrication
Regularly review creative work with the team’s senior creative leaders to get feedback on direction and ensure alignment with other activities in the group.
Engage in presentations or meetings as appropriate.
