Facebook Reality Labs brings together a team of world class researchers and engineers to build the next generation of AR and VR products, as well as pushing the state of the art in their fields. The Localization Team is looking for exceptional Computer Vision Engineers to join us in pushing forward the state of the art in localization. In addition to working with researchers and engineers within the AR/VR organization, this role offers opportunities to collaborate closely with the Facebook AI research group and Facebook Reality Labs.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or related field
Experience developing efficient computer vision software in C++, as well as experience with modern deep learning frameworks
Experience working with areas related to 3D computer vision, such as SLAM, localization, 3D reconstruction, depth estimation, or similar
Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Description(岗位职责)
Design and implement efficient and scalable systems related to localization, SLAM, and mapping to push the limits of AR and VR.
Leverage AI algorithms to advance the state of the art in large-scale localization.
Design, implementation, and optimization of software for shipping AR/VR devices.
Collaborate with other researchers and engineers across teams at Facebook to develop experiments, prototypes, and concepts that advance the state of the art in AR/VR systems.
Analyze and improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and stability of currently deployed systems.
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Experience with building real-time systems based on computer vision and deep learning methods for localization, SLAM, or mapping
Specialization in computer vision areas related to: SLAM, localization, 3D computer vision, 3D reconstruction, and/or depth estimation
Proven track record of achieving significant results as demonstrated by grants, or fellowships, as well as first-authored publications in top-tier computer vision conferences, such as CVPR, ECCV/ICCV, 3DV, SIGGRAPH, BMVC or similar
Demonstrated software engineer experience via an internship, work experience, coding competitions, or widely used contributions in open source repositories (e.g. GitHub.)
