Summary（岗位介绍）
Director of engineering, who will take on the Single Threaded Lead (STL) role for the full development (concept, design, validation and mass production) of the next generation Smart Glasses that Facebook Reality Labs will bring to market. The role will focus on cross organization leadership to drive and coordinate a large effort across the hardware organization and other key internal and external partners. The role is heavily collaborative and cross-functional. Ideal candidates will have excellent technical understanding of consumer electronics with emphasis on SOC, camera, display, audio, and wireless technologies.
Candidates must have proven interpersonal skills and communication skills along with a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional interconnectedness and deliverables to enable the realization of complex Glasses products. Candidates must have keen focus on driving business results, ability to work in ambiguous/less defined environments, and strong willingness to collaborate and optimize overall business objectives.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelor in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
10+ years people management experience including managing leaders and managing remotely across regions
Track record and demonstrated leadership experience in defining, developing and launching volume consumer electronics products to market
Experience thinking strategically and executing methodically in an entrepreneurial environment
Collaboration and relationship-building experience, working with all levels of management and individual contributors internally and externally
Description（岗位职责）
Lead hardware engineering teams (EE, PD, INT, FW) in defining, designing, and developing hardware devices for Rayban Stories Glasses
Own hardware execution (cradle to grave) for one of the Rayban Stories product lines
Develop outstanding strategic relationships with product peers and engineering, research, business, design, and user research teams to define product requirements and architecture
Drive alignment across cross-functional teams in industrial design, product management, hardware technology, software, program management and operations to meet program objectives and ensure user experience, product cost, manufacturability, quality and go-to-market strategies are met
Organizational experience partnering with global partners for manufacturing and Design
