Summary（岗位介绍）
We are seeking innovative scientists with experience developing complex custom optical metrology instruments related to AR and VR. This role will model, optimize and prototype multiple optical measurement systems that meet challenging precision requirements. This role should develop a strong system level understanding to loop between measurement metrics, results, model expectations and system level implications. This is a full-time position and requires an advanced degree in optical engineering, physics, or similar. Successful candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic cross-functional team.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, PhD degree or equivalent experience in the field of Optical Sciences, Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar field
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
Experience in optical systems development and innovation
Experience in developing complex optical metrology tools
Experience with optical design using standard design software such as CODE V, Zemax, LightTools, etc.
Experience with data processing software such as MATLAB
Experience with instrumentation and real time acquisition (motorizations, image acquisition, etc.)
Description（岗位职责）
Be involved in multiple projects and develop system understanding of what each project requires in term of metrology
Derive metrology requirements from system understanding and metric definitions, and redefine metric if needed
Define metrology solutions and perform optical analysis to predict measurement system performances
Develop fast prototypes of the selected approaches to validate the solution
Interface with external partners to build more user friendly and automatized version of the selected approach
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams formed of optical, mechanical and electrical researchers to form fully functional prototypes
Communicate research progress clearly to a multidisciplinary audience
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
5+ years in developing custom metrology tools in research
Experience in driving vendor interactions (SOW, contracts, weekly follow up, etc.)
Experience in driving system level performance budgets
Cross disciplinary experience in optomechanics and optoelectronics
