Our silicon team is pushing the state-of-the-art with breakthrough work in computer vision, machine learning, mixed reality, graphics, power delivery, interconnect, displays, sensors, and new ways to map the human body. We work across the entire stack of system design, from transistors, architectures, firmware, and algorithms. Our chips will enable AR and VR devices to mix and match the real and virtual worlds throughout the day.
As a SRAM Compiler Engineer at Facebook you will work with a world-class team of engineers creating high-performance and low-power custom designs for our AR/VR chips and focus directly on creating tuned memory technologies targeting best-in-class user experiences with AR/VR. This will include workload profiling to understand memory access patterns; optimized memory circuits for power, performance, and stability; development of tuned memory compilers; and verification and validation of memory functionality and key performance measures. We value excellent communication skills and strong cross-functional teamwork.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
M.S. or Ph.D. in EE, ECE, or related field
Experience in circuit simulation and modeling
Experience with SRAM circuit designs and memory compilers
Experience communicating clearly and working effectively in a collaborative team
Experience in programming/scripting with Python or Perl
Description(岗位职责)
Understand workloads and execution kernels and how to map those to memory access patterns and traces
Develop, simulate, and margin new circuit ideas and technologies to build memories tailored to our workload patterns
Build and maintain memory compiler technologies to facilitate in creating memory instances in large SoC designs
Work with chip, block, and verification engineers to understand design parameters including area, power, and interfaces
Develop scripts as necessary to improve productivity and reliability
Participate in process improvements and complete any assigned circuit design task with minimal supervision
Travel both domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time
