At Reality Labs, our goal is to explore, innovate and design novel interfaces and hardware subsystems for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team, whose mission is to create the future of soft, wearable technology. We are specifically looking for a candidate with experience in leveraging deep understanding of wireless data transmission research and power modeling to enable new architectures for wearables. More broadly, the chosen candidate will work with a diverse and highly interdisciplinary team of researchers and engineers and will have access to cutting edge technology, resources, and testing facilities.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
BS in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, other related technical field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of R&D experience in electrical or systems engineering in technology leadership capacity.
Experience coordinating cross functional team through scope/quality/performance/resource tradeoffs in product definition with novel technology.
Experience influencing strategy by enabling new technologies.
Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration.
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Description（岗位职责）
Drive R&D for wireless (RF, optical) interconnects to transfer data and power in the heavily constrained design space of wearables.
Partner with research, hardware engineering, and design teams to create component, subsystem, systems and full stack power optimizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on blank-slate and early-phase research and integration prototypes, leveraging power and data models to inform research strategy.
Understand relevant industry trends and guide management on long term technology investments and strategic industry partnerships.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
Experience contributing or leading industry standard technology groups (Bluetooth SIG, USB-IF, NFC-F).
Expertise in system analysis and modeling tools such as Design of Experiments (DOE) , and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS).
Experience building power system models for multiple use cases and architectures.
Experience driving development of multiple novel consumer electronics products throughout the complete product development cycle.
