Summary（岗位介绍）
Wireless technologies are a crucial part of Facebook Reality Lab Device Technology Engineering team. As the Cellular Firmware Engineering team, we design and develop algorithms and software for the state of the art mobile devices including wearables and AR/VR products. We utilize the latest developments in the wireless industry to develop AR/VR products with wireless capabilities and work towards areas to optimize facebook’s AR/VR user experiences for both short term and long term. We are looking for interns who have a deep understanding of wireless technology, and are familiar with software development.
Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long, and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelors / Masters in Wireless Communications or related field
Knowledge of communication system theory and wireless fundamentals
Proficient and experience in C/C++, Perl or Python
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Interpersonal skills: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Description（岗位职责）
In this role, you will be working with software teams to gather requirements and develop tools to enhance the productivity of the team.
This includes developing a platform to automate the log analysis, develop web based user interfaces which will interact with our internal databases.

Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship
3GPP or IEEE standard knowledge is desired
