Summary（岗位介绍）
The Product Cost Engineer manages all aspects of the product cost throughout a product’s lifecycle. This person has an analytical background and is responsible for working within operations (Sourcing, CM Management, Operation Program Management) to manage, analyze and report product cost data. This person is responsible for capturing, documenting and communicating BOM cost, risks and opportunities, trends and changes throughout all stages of a product life cycle. In collaboration with the PCE, GSM and OPM teams, this person will also own the management and implementation of the Supplier Plan of Record (SPOR) with the Contract Manufacturers in order to ensure supply chain alignment. Candidates must be detail and execution focused, strong collaborators and communicators and have a background in data/cost management. This position provides a great opportunity to learn about Operations Finance, Cost Management and drive impact.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Bachelors of Science in Supply Chain, Information Management Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
2+ years of experience in operations, finance or accounting
Proven analytical skills, with advanced skills in the use of Excel, program management, and cross functional collaboration
Experience managing large data sets and analytics
Experience with ERP, Data systems (Agile, Oracle, Tableau, etc.)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Description（岗位职责）
Bills of Materials (BOM) management and coordination with contract manufacturers worldwide to implement and validate commodity costs
Work with cross functional business partners to ensure that costs for key commodities are accurately collected and drive business insight
Track the program actual costs versus target to identify program deltas and corrective actions to bring back on track Outline, report and track BOM cost, including risks & opportunities on a monthly basis Working with PCE, OPM and GSM
Document and implement supplier plan of record (SPOR) with the CMs Ad Hoc analysis and support for various teams company wide
Work with supply chain and operations team to document detailed cost reduction forecast and drive timely implementation
