Join a team of artists and engineers who are passionate about creating a cutting-edge AR/VR experiences. The FRL Team is seeking an experienced Character Technical Artist to help our team. Technical Artists are generally responsible for the technical aspects of art asset development. This entails working closely with Art and Engineering to develop and support the asset pipeline, animation & rigging tools, animation rigs, real-time effects, and materials.

This position is full-time and based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Qualifications(岗位要求)

Experience with Maya Python/PyMEL, C++ API, PySide/PyQt

Experience in game development or film as a Technical Artist.

Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams

Experience communicating across team members including engineers and artists.

Deep experience with cloth simulation in Maya and/or Marvelous Designer

Expert Knowledge of character rigging in Maya or Blender

Experience in mocap and full body animation

Experience with R3DS / Wrap 3

Experience with wrinkle maps and blendshapes

Experience with Look Development and authoring PBR materials

Experience with realtime asset implementation and optimization techniques

Experience working with Unity and/or UE4

Description(岗位职责)

Partner closely with the engineering, researchers, art and design team to define and develop content in Unity and/or Unreal Engine.

Design, manage and maintain the pipeline from artists and designers.

Optimize content through enhancing performance and collaborating with artists and designers on asset creation, modeling, materials, and texturing best practices.

Work closely with engineers to implement tracking technologies, interactive objects and systems.

Quickly solve issues with your cross-functional leads.

Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Ability to collaborate and iterate based on the team's needs.

Develop Maya tools and plug-ins for rigging and animation production

Develop broad technical expertise to assist in a wide variety technical and artistic tasks

Additional Requirements(额外要求)

Extensive Content development experience, including shipped AAA games

Prior virtual or augmented reality experience

Knowledge of emerging technologies.

Shader programming experience

Develop workflow tools in Unity

Expert understanding of human anatomy

Exposure to or experience with computer vision and/or deep learning

Good sense of UI and UX design

Attention to detail, passion and the ability to master new applications and technologies quickly

Experience in facial rigging and facial blendshape workflows on realistic humans
