We are seeking a summer intern to bridge the gap between a MEMS device design and functional prototype. In this role, you will take concepts from design to tapeout to test and qualification. In this role, you will be a key member of a team of innovators, working on leading MEMS technologies and developing architecture to enable the future of AR/VR.
This is an internship position based in Redmond, WA. Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications(岗位要求)
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a PhD candidate in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or related field
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Background in MEMS device design and layout
Experience with multi-physics finite element simulations using tools such as COMSOL or ANSYS
Experience with building out front and back end instrumentation for MEMS device testing
Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical MEMS characterization such as optical profilometry and electrical impedance measurements
Proficiency in basic circuit layout tools such as Altium or Eagle
Description(岗位职责)
Develop MEMS device designs for prototyping
Translate MEMS device concepts into foundry-ready layout for tape-out
Develop MEMS drive and sense instrumentation
Build out testing pipeline for MEMS devices, including basic mechanical and electrical characterization, as well as building out front and back end instrumentation
Additional Requirements(额外要求)
Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship
Hands-on MEMS device fabrication experience including photolithography, deposition, wet and dry etching
