Summary（岗位介绍）
In this role, you will be joining the Optics and Display Research team that is responsible for the research and development of novel display and optical materials, components and systems for AR and VR applications.
You will be leading a display research team composed of research scientists and engineers exploring new concepts in imaging display technologies for potential use in AR and VR optic systems. You will be responsible for working with other teams to provide proof of concept viability and demonstration aimed at transfer to product teams for future commercialization.

Capable of building and managing optics, display, backplane and graphics capabilities.
Demonstrated experience executing on prioritizing analysis to weed out concepts quickly and focus on paths with high potential and successful implementation.
Communication and management skills using self-awareness, situational/organizational awareness and empathy.
Adept at working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and flexible environment to deliver solutions that far outperform the state-of-the-art.
5+ years of people management experience of technical individuals.
Description（岗位职责）
Manage and Lead a team of research scientists and engineers that collaborate with internal teams, academia and external commercial research labs to create and develop novel display concepts and technologies for AR and VR imaging displays.
Manage internal collaborations and coordinate with other core technical teams on incubating the technologies that are fundamental to the innovative concepts.
Coordinate with product hardware teams on display enhancement attributes. Lead the team to demonstrate both physics based and systems viability of the concepts through analysis and experimentation.
Develop and manage strong academic and commercial research lab partnerships.
Lead the incubation technical evaluation testing and prototypes with academic and commercial research laboratories to demonstrate and de-risk for commercial viability.
Manage technology transfer activities on proven and valued technologies to the product hardware Display teams for engineering and commercialization.
Support partners to enable demonstrations of full AR and VR optical system prototypes without fully commercialized technologies.
Additional Requirements（额外要求）
PhD or equivalent experience in Optics, Opto-Electronics, Physics or Display Technologies, 10+ years of technical including 3+ years of management experience in the field of Optics, Opto-Electronics or Display Technologies.
15+ years of experience in the fields of Optics, Opto-Electronics or Display Technologies.
Demonstrated experience in incubating ideas in display research and seeing them through to volume commercialization.
Multiple technical skills in optics, physics, display electronics, systems engineering, image/color processing, graphics.
Experience with demonstration of building a cross functional team in display systems including optics, display, backplane and graphics expertise.
