Come and develop, drive, and deliver new products in the world of Facebook Reality Labs! We’re looking for individuals that want to be on the ground floor of breakthrough technologies and help build a world class sourcing team. As a Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) Intern, you will be learning about the key strategic relationships with critical electro-mechanical suppliers including exploration of new or advanced technologies, part costing, and supply chain management. This role is dependent on close collaboration with Hardware Engineering, Program Management, Technical Operations, and other cross-functional teams. During the product development process, you are responsible for ensuring the suppliers are prepared to support the delivery of key parts on-time at specified quality, and yield parameters and are prepared to meet the ramp quantities. It is the SSM’s primary objective to ensure suppliers meet or exceed commercial and technical requirements throughout the life-cycle of the product(s).
Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long, and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Qualifications（岗位要求）
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, an MBA degree
1+ years of experience in supplier evaluation/selection, should cost models, contract negotiation and supply base management
Demonstrated leadership, program management, and cross-functional teamwork experience
1+ years of experience communicating with and influencing all levels of management
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Description（岗位职责）
Dive deep into supply chain analysis for supply mapping
Understand Process flow, identify critical equipment and work with XFN teams on driving equipment standardizations and cost reduction opportunities.
Drive process improvements in negotiation and management of Facebook-owned capex.
Collaborate with cross functional team to streamline the RFI/RFQ process to enable optimal sourcing decisions.
Interact with highly efficient sourcing managers and cross functional technology development team to think broadly about solutions to the most complex operational challenges.
Understand the industry/commodity landscape, investigate new technologies, and work with cross functional teams to influence technology roadmap and sourcing strategy.
Create a consolidated view on Facebook spend on common materials across different commodities and suggest negotiation strategies.

Intent to return to a degree-program after the completion of the internship.
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
