We are looking for a driven machine learning engineer optimally with experience in Neural Architecture Search (NAS) and recent advances in neural architectures such as transformers for computer vision or NLP. You’ll be part of a small team of developers and deep learning experts working in the area of device-aware neural network optimization and neural architecture search. We are looking for candidates passionate about machine learning, computational science and hardware. To succeed within this role, you should have shown experience in several of the following areas:

Qualifications(岗位要求)

Strong experience in Python. Including popular science libraries like Numpy, Pandas etc

Experience with one or more deep learning framework such as Tensorflow, PyTorch or Keras

Expert knowledge of the principles, algorithms, and tools of deep learning, including models, training strategies, training dataset building, cost functions, quality metrics, etc

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills

Track record of successfully building and shipping products or open source projects

Publication record in ML conferences is a plus

Excellent math skills: linear algebra, computational science and optimization

Creativity and curiosity for solving highly complex problems

Bonus: Understanding of compute hardware design, CPU and GPU architectures

Experience in model compression/quantization/optimization for embedded devices/kernel optimization a plus

Description(岗位职责)

You’ll be working in a team of computer vision and deep learning researchers and engineers to implement world class algorithms that pushes the state of the art.

Your job responsibilities will include:

– Design and develop efficient neural networks including quantization, pruning, compression and neural architecture search (NAS), as well as novel differentiable compute primitives

– Train and evaluate DNNs for the purpose of finding architectures that perform efficiently on Apple hardware, benchmarking and improving neural network optimization algorithms

– Implement efficient tensor operations and DNN training algorithms

– Train and evaluate DNNs for the purpose of benchmarking neural network optimization algorithms

– Implementing and optimizing algorithms to run efficiently on mobile devices

– Building and optimizing efficient machine learning pipelines for fast training and inferencing

– Cooperating with your team members to prepare presentations, papers, and talks to explain your inventions
